There are special exhibits at the museum that are dedicated to the Royal Air Force and how they waged war with the Germans over Southern England during the Second World War. Then a short drive from Chichester is Goodwood House which is home to the Dukes of Richmond for more than 300 years. 4. Alnwick Castle is the second largest of all castles in England today that is still inhabited. Since 1309 this has been the home of the Earls and Dukes of Northumberland (the Percy's). However there is evidence in history books to show that a castle has stood on this site since around 1096 and was erected on the behest of Yves de Vescy who became Baron of Alnwick at this time. It was however the 1st Lord Percy of Alnwick who began restoration on the castle back in the early fourteenth Century and today parts of this still remain.

Time-Tested Tips for Traveling Light
The next time you travel, make a pact with yourself to travel light. When you pack light, you'll free up your time when you travel. In some cases, you may be able to get away with taking all of your items in a carryon and avoiding baggage check entirely.
The key to getting your luggage reduced to one or two bags is to pack only what you need. While you are packing, continually ask yourself these questions: “Do I really need this or just want it?” or “Do I need to carry this or can I buy it cheaper while I'm traveling?” Think twice before you place anything in your bag. You can always purchase what you need when you arrive at your destination.
Start with your toiletries. Many hotels offer complimentary shampoo and soap, so you may be able to save some space by not packing those. (This also avoids having the bottles leak en route to your destination.). You can buy these items cheaply in most destinations in the world. Buying when you arrive may be a smart idea when it comes to toothbrushes, toothpaste and even deodorant. At the very least, you'll want to purchase small sizes for packing, so you aren't lugging around a full size shampoo and conditioner, for example.
The next area where people tend to over-pack is clothing. Your clothes are important, but not so important that you need to take more than one or two bags with you. Choose a few neutral pieces that coordinate well together. Two pairs of pants and three shirts should be enough to get you through a week-long journey, or even longer if you have access to laundry facilities. So today I have just returned home from a lovely trip to the Caribbean. To be honest I am quite surprised that I actually ended up going, because getting there was seemed like a million miles away.
Anyhow this is my whole story of my amazing trip to the Caribbean, it all started when me and my partner decided to book somewhere for our honeymoon. The Caribbean holidays destinations looked very appealing and somewhere that we have wanted to go for a very long time.
After the great wedding we had experienced, we were so glad to be flying out to the hot islands the next day. In the morning we woke and awaited our pre booked taxi. After 30 minutes or so we started to get worried that it was not coming, we were not really that far away from the airport so decided to catch a bus.
It was an absolute shocker of a decision as we got stuck in lots of jams. I totally thought we missed our plane after turning up hours late. I think we had a bit of chance as the flight was running late. Yes!
Well what can I say when we got there the weather and hotel were amazing. The food was totally gorgeous and the beaches were like paradise. We have a great 2 weeks at the destination and it is definitely somewhere that I would like to visit again if I get the chance.
Anyone who is reading this I sincerely hope that if you are going on honeymoon that you consider go to any of the Caribbean islands as they are truly and utterly mind blowing. You have great weather, great beaches and great hotels and food what more could you possibly ask for.

4. Sea Fari Adventures – This attraction gives you the chance to come into close contact with some of the Argyll coasts' wildlife. During your visit you will hopefully get to see some whales, seals, dolphins and porpoises along with the native deer and eagles. You can spend as much as a whole day at sea whale watching if you want to.
5. Oban Chocolate Company – This is a place that both adults and children alike will enjoy visiting. The city of Leeds is located on the River Aire in West Yorkshire, England and it can trace its roots back to at least the 5th century. Oxford: What To Do When You Visit Oxford
There are plenty of things for you to see and do when you visit the university city of Oxford. The river Thames and the river Cherwell run through the city and meet just south of its centre. If you want why not spend some time relaxing and just strolling along the banks of either of these.

1. The Ashmolean Museum is Britain's first museum and is still thought to be one of the greatest in the world. In fact when this was founded the term museum had not even been coined and its creator based it on a collection of natural history specimens brought together by John Tradescant and his son and which were then given to Elias Ashmole. He then had a special building erected in which the collection could be housed and it first opened its doors to the public in May 1683. In 1718 the Alfred Jewel was added to the collection.
As the size of the collection grew, the original building became too small and a new museum building was erected and opened in 1894. Then by the end of 1908 the collection of items collected and displayed in the Ashmolean were merged with an art gallery and that is what you will see today.
2. Originally called the Physic Gardens, the Oxford Botanic Gardens were founded by Henry Danvers in 1621 so that he as the Earl of Danby could study medicinal plants. The garden cost £5,000 to create (a large sum at this time) and was built on the site of a form medieval Jewish cemetery. Ragwort, a plant which is now common throughout England, was propagated from seeds that came from Mount Etna. This is now the oldest surviving botanic gardens to be found in England and along with the herb and medicinal plants one can view tropical lilies, palms and other arid zone plants in the glasshouses. There is also a wonderful rock garden and bog garden for you to enjoy when you visit this beautiful attraction.
3. Located on Oxford High Street is the University Church of St Mary the Virgin. This is a very important building in Oxford University's history. It was in the walls of this building that the first library for the university was established and it is believed that in the early part of the 12th Century Masters and students were gathered at it.
But what makes this so important is that this is where the trial took place of the Bishops Latimer and Ridley along with Archbishop Cranmer for heresy in 1555. They soon became known as the "Oxford Martyrs". It is on one side of Radcliffe Square and facing it is the Radcliffe Camera. One of the buildings most notable features is the spire which contains components from when it was originally constructed in the 13th Century. Plus if you are willing to climb the towers 127 steps you are offered wonderful views of the city from the top.

Car Travel Games: 6 Quick and Easy Ideas
Nothing makes a road trip creep along more than having a car full of bored children. If you heard “Are we there yet?” a few too many times on your last trip, here are some ideas for fun family travel games.
1. The License Plate Game. This classic will have your children busy looking at cars and learning a little about geography at the same time. Before you head out on your trip, print out a list of all 50 states and give a copy to each of your kids. You can have them compete individually to get the most states, or better yet, work together as a team for a family record. You can give out a new sheet for each leg of the trip or tally up the total license plates for the entire trip.
2. Joke Bowl. Have a "Joke Bowl" on the way to your destination. Before you get started, let your family know that they each need to collect at least ten jokes for the trip. Have one person start out the joke bowl as soon as you see the first green highway sign, and then go in a clockwise direction. The whole group votes on a winner and then that person gets to start out the next time you see a green highway sign. The person who wins the most rounds gets a special prize.
3. Wipe Clean Games. Make your own “wipe clean” games by laminating mazes and word games from activity books. You can even create your own or print them from online. Give your children dry erase markers or overhead projector pens. They can reuse the pages again and again throughout the car trip.
4. Counting Cows. This game is simple to understand but also very challenging. Divide your family into two teams, based on the two different sides of the car. Count all the cows you see along the way. If you pass by a crowded field, you'll need to count really fast! Each person keeps track of their own cow count, and you lose your cows if a cemetery passes by your side of the car and someone else says "All your cows are buried!"
5. Make your own Mad Libs. Before you head out on the road, collect a few short stories and remove some of the words and write down what part of speech those words are. While you're traveling, have your kids call out suggestions and then read back your silly stories.
6. Read a book. Reading a book out loud can make a car trip go a lot faster for the people who are listening. Take along a few short chapter books to read to your children. If your stomach can't handle reading in the car, rent or download a few audiobooks to listen to as a family.

The port and town of Falmouth is located on the River Fal and is on England’s south coast in the County of Cornwall. Just south east of Falmouth is Pendennis Castle which is situated across the harbor from its castle St Mawes. Both castles were built in the time of the Tudors and were built to form a defensive chain along the south coast during the reign of Henry VIII. These castles were built to act as a deterrent against either the French or Spanish invading England.
Pendennis castle has been used regularly over the years and this means that it is still in excellent shape. During the reign of Elizabeth the First the castle was further strengthened and was again utilized during the Civil War by the Royalist’s and was their last stronghold to fall. The castle was also used during both World Wars and today the guardhouse and the underground tunnels and magazines from these wars remain. Close to Falmouth is the Lizard Peninsula, the most southern point in England and even though Land's End is often thought to hold this position. Plus as you walk along the National Trust owned costal path look towards the see you may spot some seals or dolphins and even possibly a basking shark.

Cocos Island is a small volcanic rock covered by a misty rain forest. It is roughly rectangular in shape and about 9 sq. mi. in size.
